Responsibilities:

• Provide a positive and professional representation of Crown Hardware & Plumbing at all times.
• Proactively assist customers in identifying needs and offering effective solutions.
• Greet customers warmly upon entering, assist them throughout their visit, and thank them as they leave.
• Deliver personalized service with a friendly, approachable, and helpful demeanor.
• Answer pages and calls promptly, courteously, and effectively.
• Address customer concerns with care; escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and a clear understanding of store layout to guide customers efficiently.
• Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both customers and associates.
• Assist in receiving, checking in, and stocking merchandise, while maintaining back stock levels.
• Ensure sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor areas are orderly, clean, and well maintained.
• Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and positive team atmosphere.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous hardware or plumbing retail experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and climb as required.
